Walk past the self-development section of any bookstore, what do you notice? The section is filled with books about finding happiness, positivity, wellbeing and mindfulness. On social media you see the same happening, a wave of positive literature. Is positive content the key to finding joy and happiness? The answer: I have no clue. But thankfully there is the counter active approach written by Mark Manson: The subtle art of not giving a f*ck.
A must read for everyone in their twenties
Without question, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson is the first book I’d recommend to anyone. In the past years I’ve read it multiple times and recommended countless times. It is perfect for people who are in their twenties and feel depressed or down every now and then.
The book has a refreshing take on life and how to deal with several hard moments in life. It expands the way you think and has advice that you can directly implement on a daily basis. It is easy to read, understandable and relatable for everybody.
